BigSummit
The visual identity and environment for the company's flagship event — stage, space, screen and everything attendees carry home.
A flagship event is a brand test with an audience and a start time. Every surface is seen in sequence, at wildly different sizes, by people who are also in the room with each other.
I designed the visual identity for BigSummit and its application across the physical and digital experience, working with Brand, Marketing, Web and event production to keep the room and the run-up telling the same story.
Scope
- IdentityEvent look and typographic system
- EnvironmentStage, signage, wayfinding
- DigitalEvent site, email, social
- ContentKeynote and session templates
The look
A year's story, told in one room.
The event identity had to sit inside the company brand while still feeling like its own moment — recognizable from the back of a keynote hall and on a phone screen in the same afternoon.
The room
Designed for the seat, not the mockup.
Stage graphics, wayfinding and session signage were laid out against real sightlines and screen ratios, so type sized for a deck didn't turn into type nobody could read from row thirty.
Before and after
The event starts weeks early.
Registration pages, email, social and partner assets carried the same look as the room itself, so the whole arc — invitation to recap — read as one continuous thing.
